This book is a catalogue accompanying Dash Snow’s first solo exhibition at Peres Projects, Los Angeles, 2007. Departing from his primary medium of photography, recording 2000s spiralling Lower East Side “counter-counter-culture”, the artist ventures into collage, furthering his explorations of poetic disgust. The Dada-esque takes forefront as images are rearranged into hallucinatory passages both beautiful and sinister.
